Defense Industry President Görgün and Air Forces Commander Dalkıran flew with HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET.

Presidential Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün and Air Forces Commander General Rafet Dalkıran participated in the flights of the national air platforms HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET aircraft.

In his post about HÜRKUŞ-II on his social media account, Görgün stated that they were in the sky with two important platforms of national aviation.

Görgün stated that Air Forces Commander General Rafet Dalkıran and the HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET took their places in the cockpits and rose to the sky, adding:

"When you sit in the cockpit of an aircraft, you feel much more closely the great effort that goes from the design table to the production line, from tests to flight. Now, a new reward for this labor is coming. We will deliver our first HÜRKUŞ-IIs to our Air Forces Command in a short time. We would like to thank our Ministry of National Defense, TAI and our Air Forces Command, who shouldered this success under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, all our subcontractor companies, engineers, technicians and all our colleagues who took responsibility." “I thank you.”

"We have completed the acceptance today"

In the video he shared about the HÜRKUŞ-II flight, Görgün said that they carried out these flights in order to contribute, at least to some extent, to the efforts made with Dalkıran.

Haluk Görgün said, "For the first time, Turkey is delivering a national aircraft to our national forces. It was very, very meaningful. Today is the final tests. It is also an pride for us to be a part of these final tests." he said.

Dalkıran said, "As the Commander of the Turkish Air Forces, there is nothing more proud than flying with an aircraft produced by our own country." he said.

To Görgün's words after the HÜRKUŞ-II flight, "It passed the test, didn't it, commander? We completed the acceptance today," Dalkıran said, "Superb. Okay." He responded.

HÜRJET showcased its national talents

Haluk Görgün made the following evaluations in his post about the HÜRJET flight:

"We tested our high-tech capabilities in HÜRJET in Gök Vatan. We participated in the test flight of HÜRJET with our Air Force Commander General Rafet Dalkıran. Within the scope of the flight, both detection and radar locking activities were carried out for the HÜRJET P1 aircraft with ASELSAN's national MURAD AESA radar from the HÜRJET P2 aircraft.
