New message from Sinem Dedetaş: 'Never let your neck bend'

Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş, who was arrested 68 days ago as a result of operations against municipalities, shared a message from the prison where she was detained.

"OUR DAY BEGINS WITH PATIENCE AND LOVE"

Giving an example from the solidarity letters, Dedetaş said, "May your neck never bend; our prayers, faith and good energies are directed towards you. Our day begins with patience and love. Our faces will be towards you until you are free..."

The message of Dedetaş, who is detained in Karatepe Prison in Çorlu, one of the prisons described as "well type" prison, is as follows:

"Today is my 68th day in prison. I will not bore you by telling you about the conditions here. I will talk about something beautiful: Your letters of solidarity. They are literally the strength to endure. They help me overcome my loneliness, longing and feeling of injustice here. Each of them is uniquely valuable.

THE STORY THAT CAME WITH 'OYA'

I thank each of you wholeheartedly. Today I wanted to share one of them with you. Inside, there is a story about 'lace', one of the most beautiful handicrafts of our culture:

'...I am one of the millions who believe that you are being treated unfairly in the difficult days our country is going through. We strive to stand by you with both our prayers and our resistance. I will describe our situation to you with a lace story. I am sending the lace, the story of which I will tell, attached to my letter.
