A popular story on SNS becomes a fairy tale... ‘We are an earthworm rescue team’

Woo-seong, an elementary school student who thought earthworms were disgusting, participates in an activity to save earthworms that dry out on the road after a rain at his teacher's suggestion.

As Woo-seong gets to know and raise earthworms, he gradually realizes the value of life. Then one day, Woo-seong and his friends witness a mass death of earthworms at a local lake park and begin to think about a solution to save many earthworms.

In August 2025, the story of Incheon Dodam Elementary School's 'Children's Earthworm Rescue Team', which became a hot topic on social media, was reborn as a fairy tale. Teacher Yoo In-geun, who led the children at the time, adapted a year of earthworm rescue activities in the classroom into a fairy tale.
