It was decided to arrest Arif Sefa Özdemir, who killed 8 people and injured 2 people in Afyonkarahisar.

8 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

Arif Sefa Özdemir, who lives in Bozhüyük village of Afyonkarahisar's İhsaniye district, allegedly did not pay when the combine harvester he bought from Kırşehir burned down.

Özdemir called Ahmet Uzel (57), Bekir Toprak (50) and Numan Toprak (56), who sold the combine harvester, to the village yesterday and shot the three people with whom he had a disagreement at around 15:00 with a shotgun. Uzel, Bekir and Numan Toprak, who were in the vehicle with plate number 40 ND 574, lost their lives.

HE SHOT ME WHEN HE DID NOT GIVE ME THE VEHICLE

Özdemir then went to Afyonkarahisar city center. Özdemir went to Sevgi Postalcı, a mother of three children, who was about to get into her car with license plate 03 AIU 814 in Osman Gazi District, around 15.30, and threatened the woman and asked her to give the vehicle to him.

Özdemir fired a rifle at Postalcı, who was resisting, and seriously injured him. Postalcı, who was shot in the head while getting into his car to pick up his child from school, was taken into surgery at the hospital.

HE CONTINUED WITH THE MURDERS

Arif Sefa Özdemir, who later came to Kıyır village by car, shot and killed Seydi Ahmet Aydoğmuş (73) and Satı Aydoğmuş (68), who were in the car with plate number 03 AGV 654, with a rifle. The body of İsmail Şen (61) was found approximately 1 kilometer away from this vehicle.

HE KILLED TWO TEACHERS, ONE WAS SAVED AT THE LAST MINUTE

The attacker, who then went to Yukarıtandır village in the car with plate number 54 ACC 723 that he had hijacked, shot with a shotgun at Science Teacher Ayşe Sena Demir (46) and Religious Culture and Ethics Teacher Hilal Mete (31), who were working at İhsaniye Yukarıtandır Secondary School in the car with plate number 07 BZB 11.

Hilal Mete died at the scene and Ayşe Sena Demir died in the hospital. Physical Education Teacher Sultan Sema G., who was in the vehicle, escaped the attack at the last moment and ran away.

Sultan Sema G. went to Gazlıgöl town and reported the situation to the security forces. Özdemir fled to the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir. Upon being notified of the situation, the police took action and started an operation to catch the attacker.

EDUCATION WAS SUSPENDED AT THE SCHOOL

Education was suspended today at Yukarıtandır Secondary School, where Science Teacher Ayşe Sena Demir and Religious Culture and Ethics Teacher Hilal Mete worked, who lost their lives in the attack. It was noted that Hilal Mete has been working at the school for 2 years, and Ayşe Sena Demir has been working at the school for 7 years.

It was seen that the two teachers shared the photo they took in front of the school with the students they graduated in June on their virtual media accounts.
