The second hearing of the case regarding the death of singer Gül Tut, known as 'Güllü', by falling from the window of her house on the 6th floor in Yalova's Çınarcık district, continued with the defense of the defendant's lawyer Merve Uçanok, after a break. Rejecting the accusations against his client, Uçanok said:

"Two possibilities are evaluated in the expert report. When we look at the crime scene photographs, there is cotton buds where he fell. Could there be something related to the cotton bud? There is also a cover under his feet where he fell. Could he have lost his balance and fallen? I think it is possible. When the discovery is made, there is neither of these. 'I WAS LABLED AS A MOTHER MURDERER'

Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who made a tearful defense, also denied the accusations and said:

"I do not accept the accusations made against me. I never saw the moment of my mother's fall. Even though there are arguments between every mother and daughter, we are mother and daughter. I am a victim. I was slandered. I was always with the Sultan. I don't know why he did this. If I am a murderer, he saw me, why did he not speak out at the time of the incident? He gives the first interview. He gives the same things he experienced with me. I cannot stand next to my friend, whom I call a murderer, for 3.5 months. Bayram Yılmaz, the lawyer of the detained defendant Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, claimed that the singer died after falling under the influence of alcohol and said:

"The fact that Güllü was drunk indicates that the incident was an accident. Those who came to the scene to discover the incident recorded his slip. There may not be any lubricant on the ground, but there is slipperiness on the ground itself. The possibility of this incident being an accident increases many times. It is obvious that the voice 'Let's see you' thrown at our client does not belong to him. Those closest to him know the voice of a person. The arranger knows the voice of a singer best. Defendant lawyer Merve Uçanok also said:

"We need to talk about the way the incident occurred here. The legal evidence in the file is explained by relating the events one to one. There are some possibilities in this incident. After these possibilities are evaluated, a conclusion must be reached without any room for doubt. 'Let's see you' is a key sound. There is a fall after this sentence. There is a word used before this and this should not be ignored. Çiğdem Emir Deniz testified here. When I first listened to this audio recording, there were Tuğyan, Sultan and Çiğdem. Çiğdem directly said, 'This is Gülo's voice.' We went to the sound engineer, arranger Mustafa Arapoğlu. He said, 'I can give an opinion on this.' Before the arrest, I said that this voice was not in my mind. ' I don't remember,' he replied. Then he says, 'But yes, it sounds like your mother, I said it in my statement.' While the investigation was completed after 11 months by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the trial of the singer's daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, for whom an aggravated life imprisonment was requested for the indictment for "premeditated murder against the superior lineage", and her friend Sultan Nur Ulu, for whom a prison sentence of 2 to 4 years was requested for the crime of "false witness", started on October 1 at the Yalova 1st High Criminal Court. Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who has been detained for 10 months, and Sultan Nur Ulu, whose house arrest decision has been lifted, the singer's son Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, his brother Kader Tut and the lawyers of the parties were present at the hearing.

HE DEFENDED BY CRYING

Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who defended herself by crying, explained what happened on the day of the incident. Gülter stated that they went to the market with Sultan Nur Ulu in the morning and then went to a shopping mall together to meet with the caregiver, and that they did not get along with the caregiver. Explaining that they chatted with her mother after returning home, Gülter stated that they prepared a table and watched a movie and that her mother drank alcohol and said:

"I went to my room once or twice and talked to my boyfriend K.E. Then we danced in the living room, we sang songs. We had nothing. Then we went to my room with Sultan. Sultan was obsessed with her because she had a traffic accident, she was looking at the marks on her forehead. She was looking at her hair. My mother was in the living room. We were playing with Sultan. Then my mother came too. She played too. Sultan was facing the mirror, I was in front of it. Then I heard a voice. When I turned around, my mother was not there. Then I looked at Sultan." "I shouted 'Run' and we went down together."

'I HAD MY BACK TURNED, IF I HAD SEEN IT I WOULD HAVE TRIED TO HOLD IT'

Gülter, who denied the accusations against him and claimed that there was no contact with his mother during the incident, said, "My back was turned. I did not see anything touching my mother when she fell. My mother had drunk alcohol. There was no wetness on the floor of my room, I did not notice. Sultan was looking at the mirror at the time of the incident. When I heard a loud sound, I felt like staying. I took the phone and went downstairs immediately. If I had seen it, I would have tried to hold it. I do not remember the position in which she fell."

I DIDN'T HEAR A VOICE SAYING 'LET'S SEE YOU'

Making his defense regarding the words "Let's see", which are stated to be heard just before the incident in the indictment, Gülter said, "I did not hear a voice saying 'Let's see you' at the time of the incident. This voice belongs to my mother. We were talking about K.E.'s marriage proposal to me with the Sultan. We also had this conversation at that time. My mother and I were teasing each other. The conversation such as 'Leave it' may have occurred at this time. My mother swore while we were dancing."

Stating that he does not accept Sultan Nur Ulu's accusations, Gülter said, "Before Sultan's accident, we used to spend time together and stay with each other. There were times when Sultan and I stayed apart for a long time after the incident. I do not accept his statements."

'I SAW HIM THROW HIS MOTHER OUT OF THE WINDOW'

Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter's friend, Sultan Nur Ulu, described the moment of the incident with the following words in her statement at the first hearing:

"We were in the room and having fun. Güllü came in. At that moment, I turned to the mirror and was looking at my wounds from an accident I had before. When I turned back, I saw Tuğyan throwing his mother out of the window. Then he said to me, 'Run'. I was in shock. I was very scared and my first expression was different. On the day of the funeral, Tuğyan said to me, 'If you burn me, I will burn you too.' I told this to my lawyer. I told him to take care of myself and wait for the evidence to be collected." "Then I told his lawyer that I wanted to tell him the truth and that I couldn't bear it anymore. I told him the truth after I was taken into custody. Moreover, I did not hear the words 'See you, Mr.' in the recorded voice record while I was looking at my wounds."

'I COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENT'

The singer's son, Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, stated that he filed a complaint against everyone involved in his mother's death and said:

"The day the incident happened, I was at my house in Kartal. My sister called and screamed and said 'My mother fell'. I immediately set off and went to the hospital. A police officer asked if I could access the cameras. I said I could and opened the application and gave it to the police. Then I entered the hospital and met my sister. She started screaming and crying. I am filing a complaint against everyone involved in the incident."
