X account access bans are increasing following operations against LGBTI+ people on social media

Access to social media, which gained momentum following the operations against LGBTI+ people, continues.

According to Engelweb, at least 150 X accounts were blocked from access to Bizim TV, including BirGün newspaper reporters Meral Danyıldız and Sarya Toprak, ANKA News Agency courthouse reporter Esra Tokat, and lawyers Sena Yazıbağlı and Tuncay Koç.

Some of the accounts, which mostly contain users sharing about the fund crisis, Narin Güran's murder and the Furkan Movement, were made invisible by X from Turkey.

Recently, access to the X accounts of many newspapers and journalists has been blocked.
