The State Duma commented on the words of the President of Finland about Starlink for Ukraine

Finnish President Alexandra Stubba is now showing extreme hostility towards Russia, said Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma Defense Committee. This is how he responded in a conversation with Lenta.ru to a politician’s call to SpaceX head Elon Musk to help Ukraine.

Previously, Stubb asked the American entrepreneur to expand the coverage of the Starlink satellite system so that Kyiv could strike deep into Russia.

“He has some kind of bipolar disorder. Now he is purring, telling praises to the leadership of Russia, Russia itself, calling on everyone for peace, saying that it is necessary to establish some kind of peace initiatives with Russia, and then he turns completely 180 degrees and begins to make obvious aggressive attacks against Russia, and with specific proposals. Either he offers Ukraine joint production of drones, or he proposes to expand the coverage area of ​​Starlink into the depths of our country,” the deputy said.

The leader of such a small country as Finland, whose economy at one time was largely built on ties with Russia, is better off keeping silent than making such statements, the parliamentarian believes.

“It’s better for him not to expose his country, firstly, by placing weapons there that can and will be used against Russia, but also by making such belligerent statements. He wants to be a global politician, but this is very dangerous, he could become a completely former politician,” Kolesnik concluded.
