Students set fire to some bins in protest in Verona

This morning, a group of students from the Giorgi State Institute in Verona set fire to five bins and a scooter parked nearby.

From what we learned, it was not a stunt, but a protest action following the punitive measures decided by the school management after some episodes of brawls that occurred in the classrooms.

The students mobilized with a chat before the start of lessons, threw firecrackers and set fire to the bins.

Firefighters and State Police cars intervened on site; the investigations are entrusted to the Digos of the Verona Police Headquarters.
