SunExpress took emission reduction steps for 44 aircraft with VCT Finlet technology

According to the statement made by the company, SunExpress took a step that will contribute to emission reduction within the scope of its cooperation with Vortex Control Technologies (VCT) in 2024. VCT Finlet integration, which was initially applied to 5 Boeing 737-800 aircraft at SunExpress, was expanded to 44 aircraft following successful test results. VCT Finlet technology, which consists of aerodynamic winglets placed on the rear fuselage of aircraft and reduces drag by optimizing air flow, improves flight performance and contributes to increasing fuel efficiency and reducing operational emissions.
