Saudi Arabian Grand Mufti Fevzan Calls for the Army to Fight Against the Houthis

Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Salih al-Fevzan stated that restoring security and stability in Yemen is one of the priority tasks and called on the army members to be ready to fight against the Houthis.

According to the news of Saudi Arabia's official news agency SPA, Fevzan called on the Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia and the soldiers serving in the Saudi Arabian army to fulfill their duties in unity.

Stating that restoring security and stability in Yemen is one of the most important tasks, Fevzan called on the Arab Coalition forces to keep their ranks tight.

Fevzan said, "Know that you are fighting an enemy who spread discord in the country, divided the people, rebelled against their rulers and tried to harm the sacred things of Muslims." he said.

Calling on the soldiers in the Saudi Arabian army to fulfill their duties patiently, Fevzan said, "You must always be ready to do your duty, listen to your superiors and field commanders, and carry out their orders with utmost precision." he said.

Fevzan stated that protecting the country, positioning in border areas and repelling attacks are among the most important duties.

Stating that it is necessary to fight against attacks on Saudi Arabia's lands, Fevzan gave the message that lives can be sacrificed to protect the country due to the existence of holy places belonging to Muslims.

6 MISSILES LAUNCHED BY THE Houthis WERE BLOCKED

Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki, Spokesperson of the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia, announced in his statement on the social media account of the US-based company X that 6 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis were blocked and destroyed.

Stating that the attacks targeting Taif and Yenbu were also prevented by air defense systems, Maliki stated that they will resolutely resist the attacks of the Houthis.
