The Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly examined the legislative processes in the USA, France, Italy, Germany and South Korea.

According to the statement made by the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the Parliamentary Research Services Presidency examined the legislative, audit and budget processes in the USA, France, Italy, Germany and South Korea in order for the MPs to benefit from the possible amendment to the Internal Regulation. The research results obtained were compiled into a book and presented to readers digitally.

The introduction of the books was written by the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş.

In his introduction, Kurtulmuş emphasized that parliaments, which form the backbone of democratic systems, are the fundamental areas where the voice of the people is raised, political legitimacy is produced and the will of the nation is institutionalized.

Stating that these studies shed light on the historical experience of the parliaments in these countries and provide a rich framework for the discussions, constitution and internal regulations in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Kurtulmuş said, "I hope that these studies will lead to the development of parliamentary procedures and the advancement of our democratic standards." he said.

The books prepared by the Research Services Directorate were presented to the MPs electronically within the scope of the digital publishing project carried out to prevent paper waste upon the instructions of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Kurtulmuş.
