Donald Trump signed an executive order allowing American producers to slaughter, process, package and sell their meat to consumers across states.

Stating that producers have had problems with large meat processing companies for years, Trump argued that these companies, whose livestock farmers are forced to process their products, create a monopoly.
Trump said, "They say it is too difficult to do business with big processing companies and that they create too much cost and inconvenience to our farmers, ranchers and the public. We will not let this continue any longer." he said.
Stating that they will give farmers the right to process their own products, Trump stated that they will create a program that will enable small, medium and large-scale livestock enterprises to sell their products directly to consumers.
Trump emphasized that livestock farmers will not have to go to large processing companies and intermediaries, and stated that big companies will not be happy with this.
Stating that they will also make the necessary health and safety regulations, Trump said, "We will allow those who want to process their own products. If they wish, they can continue to benefit from other places, of course, if they still exist. Frankly, I do not know whether they will exist from now on." he said.
Trump also reported that he signed the executive order allowing farmers to process their own food, as well as protecting their cattle herds against predatory Mexican gray wolves.

In this context, it was noted that the capacity of American producers to slaughter, process, package and sell meat across states will be supported, while maintaining the highest food safety standards, without being exposed to exorbitant costs due to monopolistic practices in the meat processing industry.
