The Israeli army announces the interception of a drone launched by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army statement said: “Earlier this evening (Friday), saboteurs from the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched a drone towards the IDF forces that control the security zone.”

He added: "The commando fighters opened fire on it and intercepted it. There were no casualties among our forces."

The Israeli army described the incident as a "flagrant violation by the Hezbollah terrorist organization."

He added: "The IDF is currently attacking in response in southern Lebanon. The forces will continue to operate in the security zone to remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and the IDF forces."

The Israeli army confirmed that it will continue to act forcefully in the face of Hezbollah's repeated attempts to harm its forces.
