July 2026 Balance of Payments Statistics Expectations Survey Concluded

AA Finans' expectation survey regarding the "July 2026 Balance of Payments Statistics" to be announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey on Friday, September 11, was concluded with the participation of 17 economists.

According to the survey, economists predicted that the current account would have a surplus of $582.3 million in July. Economists' current account expectations for July were between a deficit of $200 million and a surplus of $1.3 billion.

Economists predicted that the current account would have a deficit of 51 billion 54 million dollars this year. The current account deficit expectation of the economists participating in the survey for this year was between 45 billion dollars and 55 billion dollars.

While Türkiye's current account account had a deficit of 4 billion 194 million dollars in June, the annualized current account deficit was 38.9 billion dollars.
