Miss World contestants introduce hometown items and charity auctions

Within the framework of the program, contestants introduce items from their homeland and call on guests to participate in the auction. The organizers said all proceeds will go to charity activities in Vietnam.

Bao Ngoc brought a fishtail evening dress made by designer Nguyen Minh Tuan, studded with thousands of crystal beads, and the shoulder shaped like wings with the meaning of luck and shine. As a result, a businessman spent 1,500 USD (nearly 40 million VND) to buy costumes.

Tanzanian beauty, Latricia Ian Sawe, brought a necklace with a 0.5 carat Tanzanite, oval shaped and placed on a 925 silver base. Tanzanite is a gemstone, found at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Northern Tanzania, outstanding with its purple-blue color. Accompanying the jewelry is a painting depicting Tanzanian nature with images of giraffes. Miss World Vietnam President Pham Kim Dung (right) bought the item for 10,000 USD (more than 260 million VND).

Venezuelan contestant Mística Núñez Rujano (right) introduces a necklace crafted by jeweler Yoel Accesorios. The six yellow orchids on the design represent the six Venezuelan women who were crowned Miss World, while the blue stones evoke the pageant crown.

She attracted attention with the Seeds of Life project, focusing on preventing child malnutrition in Falcon state, Venezuela. A preschool was chosen as a center to provide meals, health care, clean water and nutritional knowledge guidance for parents.

Danish beauty Josephine Bøttger introduces ballet shoes associated with her passion since childhood. The item is signed by her and the principal dancers of the Royal Danish Ballet.

Within the framework of the competition, Josephine Bøttger introduced a series of activities to support pregnant women, families in difficult circumstances and children with congenital heart disease.
