"With the 2.3 percent growth we recorded in the second quarter of 2026, our economy has maintained its uninterrupted growth success for the last 24 quarters, in other words for 6 years. While our annual national income reached 1 trillion 706 billion dollars, our employment exceeded 32.5 million people, and our unemployment rate maintained its single-digit course at 7.8 percent, the lowest level of the last 40 months. We continue to improve our production and export capacity in our foreign trade. "In the January-September period of 2026, we increased our exports by 5.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 211 billion dollars. We achieved an increase of 10.5 billion dollars in our exports in the first 9 months."
Emphasizing that medium-high and high-technology product exports reached a record level of 117.6 billion dollars on an annual basis, Bolat also noted that the increase in services exports to 124.9 billion dollars in 2025 and a foreign trade surplus of 63 billion dollars are among the important developments that strengthen Türkiye's position in global trade.
Stating that they expect annual exports of goods and services to exceed 409 billion dollars as of September, Bolat said:
