Tove Alexandersson won gold in orienteering - Sanna Fast won the bronze

Alexandersson won by a margin of 49 seconds ahead of Simona Aebersold, Switzerland. But the Swede did not run around with any golden feeling in the difficult terrain.

- It was tough and challenging out there and I didn't have a great feeling, says Alexandersson, who above all made a bad choice on the way to victory.

- I got completely stuck in a green area and it felt like "will I ever get out of here"? There were trees everywhere, I lost a lot of time there.

Sanna Fast ensured that it was also a Swedish bronze. She was 4.25 minutes behind the orienteering giant.

- My God, I went through all the emotions on the spectrum! At times it was very difficult. It was very tight, you had to push your way through the forest and climb among sticks and "broke" and I just wanted to go home, says Fast to SVT.

It was also Swedish in fifth place through Sara Hagström, who made a strong comeback after giving birth in May.

- Lucky that this championship takes place in such technical terrain. This was a perfect long distance for me, where there is a lot of orientation all the way and not some long super hills where you have to be a physical monster, says Hagström to SVT.
