Tragedy in Finale Ligure: a man, a woman and a 15-year-old boy found dead

The bodies of a man, a woman and a minor boy were found in a house in Finale Ligure, in the Savona area. According to initial information, the deaths were caused by gunshots. Carabinieri, firefighters, two ambulances and the medical vehicle sent by 118 were on site. The investigators have not ruled out that it could be a murder-suicide.

According to an initial reconstruction, the man, Daniele B., 59 years old, employed in the automotive sector, first shot his wife Paola, a freelancer, and then their 15-year-old son. Finally he turned the weapon, a gun, against himself. According to what has been learned, the man wrote a letter which was found, the contents of which the investigators are keeping strictly confidential: it would contain the reasons for the gesture. The magistrate on duty went to the site and gave the go-ahead for the transfer of the bodies to the mortuary. Dismay and profound sadness in the town where the couple was well known. The son played on a local soccer team.
