Tragic railway accident in Sokolniki Suche: one person dead

One person died. 120 people traveled by train

A tragic accident at a railway crossing in Sokolniki Suche in Masovia occurred today. The Intercity train from Lublin Główny to Szczecin Główny "Koziołek", carrying 120 people, collided with a concrete mixer, despite the traffic lights working. There were about 120 people traveling on the train. Unfortunately, one of the four most seriously injured people - a passenger - died as a result of her injuries.

The injured also included the train driver and the truck driver. A total of 20 people were injured.

Emergency services action. Prosecutors are on site

Emergency services arrived at the crash site. About 30 fire brigades took part in the action, including specialized medical and technical rescue teams. Prosecutors from the District Prosecutor's Office in Przysucha and representatives of the State Railway Accidents Commission also conduct their activities.
