Detention of a 44-year-old man with ammunition at a fair

Yesterday, after 11:00, fair security detained a 44-year-old man while checking one of the entrances to the event. She suspected that he might have dangerous items.

Police officers were called to the scene and identified the Ukrainian. They found a magazine with a set of live bullets on him.

It turned out that the detained person had entered Poland the day before. He was the driver of two Ukrainian businessmen whose company exhibits at the fair. The officers searched the car in which they arrived. They found no weapons or other dangerous items there.

A Ukrainian citizen was sent to a police detention center. According to information from RMF FM, he refuses to provide explanations. It is unclear why he wanted to bring a loaded pistol magazine to the party. He is to be charged with illegal possession of ammunition. The border guard was informed about the matter. A decision will most likely be made to deport the foreigner.
