Tragic accident on the DW434 bypass. A 20-year-old footballer has died

The local portal gostynska.pl reported about the tragic accident on the DW434 bypass between Grabonog and Krajewice.

The circumstances of the incident

According to a local portal, the animal fell through the windshield of the BMW and into the car. The deer had previously been hit by a Volkswagen driver who was also traveling on this road. The young footballer lost control of the vehicle and rolled over. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, the 20-year-old's life could not be saved.

Prosecutor Bogdan Zygmunt, quoted by gostynska.pl, said that the prosecutor's office had initiated an investigation into the unintentional accident. It is unusual when one car hits an animal crossing the road, which then falls into another car, causing a fatal accident - he said.

The club's reaction

Kania Gostyń - Oskar's club - published a post online in which he expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of the tragically deceased 20-year-old.

"It is with great sadness and disbelief that we received the news of the death of our player, Oskar. On behalf of the entire Kania Gostyń community, we express our sincere condolences to Oskar's family, loved ones and all his friends. In these extremely difficult moments, we join you in pain and our thoughts and hearts are with you. Rest in peace, Oskar," we read in the entry.
