The American leader, referring to the emerging information that the ongoing conflict in Iran is exhausting American weapons supplies, denied it and said that the United States has plenty of military equipment and missiles.

The regime in Iran is weak and desperate, he said.

Trump on the war in Ukraine: We will finish this matter

The Ukraine issue was not the first topic. Not even the second one. Not the third or fourth. We are working very closely with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine and we will see this through to the end. I think it will happen sooner than people think. They are fed up with this, said Trump, who met with Volodymyr Zelensky here at the UN headquarters.

The President of Ukraine hopes that with Donald Trump's help, the war in Ukraine will soon be ended. By "soon", the President of Ukraine means before winter arrives. I hope we can end this war. President Trump will help us with this, and I believe it should be done as soon as possible - before winter comes, the Ukrainian president told reporters.

Trump said: I think they will make an agreement.

I don't want to say what the agreement will be, he said, answering the question whether he still believes that Ukraine can regain all its territory. This is what he talked about a year ago, here at the UN. We know that during the conversation the issue of additional air defense systems for Kiev and the possibility of producing missiles for the Patriot system under license in Ukraine were raised.

What was particularly important to him in this speech? That he mentioned the Lindsey Graham Law and that he can use it to impose tariffs on Russia and on trading partners who buy Russian oil and gas. It was significant and I think it was noticed in Moscow, he said.
