Partically cloudy and wet weather expected in Turkey

According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the weather across the country will be partly cloudy today.

It is estimated that the Taurus region of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Central Black Sea coast, the Eastern Black Sea, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Bolu, Ankara, Çankırı, Kırıkkale, the east of Tekirdağ and Kırklareli and the northern parts of Istanbul will experience showers and thunderstorms.

LOCAL HEAVY RAIN WARNING

Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern districts of Rize and the northern districts of Artvin. In the morning, haze and occasional fog are expected in the east of Marmara, the Inner Aegean, the inner parts of the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia and the inner parts of the Black Sea.

BEWARE OF FLOODS, FLOODS, LANDSLIDES

Since local heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected in the east of Rize (Pazar, Ardeşen and Fındıklı) and in the north of Artvin (Arhavi, Hopa and Kemalpaşa), it was requested to be careful against negativities such as floods, floods, landslides, lightning and transportation disruptions.

Partly and very cloudy weather is expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea. It is estimated that the Central Black Sea coast and the Eastern Black Sea region will experience intermittent showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall is expected to be heavy locally in the east of Rize and the northern parts of Artvin. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the inner parts of the region in the morning and night hours.
