Chemical Factory Fire in Tuzla Taken Under Control

The flames soon surrounded the entire factory. Upon notice, fire brigades, police and medical teams from Tuzla, Sultanbeyli, Kartal, Üsküdar and Kadıköy districts were dispatched to the scene. Explosions occurred frequently due to chemicals in the factory. It was stated that there was a gun, pipe and pallet factory around the burned area, and firefighters made great efforts to prevent the fire from spreading to these factories.

The fire was brought under control after approximately 2.5 hours of work by firefighters. While the factory was largely burned and became unusable, it was stated that no one was killed or injured.
