UK gains access to Ukrainian AI battlefield data platform

LONDON, August 25. /TASS/. The United Kingdom will gain access to a Ukrainian battlefield data platform used to train artificial intelligence systems, according to a statement by the UK Ministry of Defense.

The agreement, signed on August 24 during British Prime Minister Andy Burnham's visit to Kiev, will give the UK access to the database of Ukraine's Avengers AI Labs.

The platform provides data and insights from real-world combat conditions to train AI models, the ministry said. The data are collected by thousands of daylight cameras and infrared sensors deployed across the battlefield in Ukraine.

The UK will initially use the data to support the defense and national security of both countries, the statement said.
