Unmanned Systems Group reports foreign interest in localizing Supercam S350 production

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Potential foreign customers are interested in the possibility of setting up localized production of Supercam S350 reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems in their own countries, Unmanned Systems Group Spokeswoman Yekaterina Zgirovskaya told TASS ahead of the ADEX-2026 International Defense Exhibition in Baku.

"Interest in the Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone is growing worldwide thanks to its use in the special military operation zone. Requests for presentations and demonstration flights, both within Russia and ‘on the road’ at the sites of potential foreign customers, continue to come in to the Unmanned Systems Group through various channels, and we are organizing such events. And, of course, customers are very interested in a comprehensive solution: localizing production and technology transfer. Therefore, we propose a phased transition from supplying unmanned systems to organizing production at the customer’s site, including maintenance of the unmanned aerial systems and operator training," the company stated.

According to Zgirovskaya, the Caspian region’s market is quite competitive, with countries already having established partnerships with Turkish, Israeli, and Chinese manufacturers. "On top of that, these countries are building up their own capabilities in this field. There is interest in our systems, driven by the fact that the Supercam S350 offers undeniable advantages for the civilian--primarily industrial--and military sectors: it is capable of conducting long-duration monitoring of targets (up to 5.5 hours), is adapted to operate in complex radio-electronic interference environments, and can fly without GNSS. This has been clearly demonstrated during CSTO exercises, in which we regularly participate and carry out tasks related to supporting operations and providing situational awareness," Zgirovskaya noted.

The ADEX-2026 exhibition will take place from September 30 to October 2.
