Canadian Auger-Aliassime complained of dizziness and poor health during his match with Khachanov at the US Open

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime said he felt unwell and dizzy during his US Open second-round match against Russian Karen Khachanov.

Khachanov beat Auger-Aliassime with a score of 6:7 (5:7), 6:3, 6:2, 6:2 and for the first time since 2019 beat an opponent from the top ten in the Grand Slam tournament.

Auger-Aliassime noted that his condition did not improve even after he considered a break during the match.

"I was dizzy, there were spots in front of my eyes, and I couldn't come to my senses. I thought maybe it would go away, but it didn't. I've never felt anything like this before. I've had cramps and I felt tired at the end of matches, but it was a little abnormal. There were no signs in the last couple of days, and this morning too.
