Water leak at school in Piracicaba leaves floor slippery and worries parents

In the images, water appears dripping and accumulating on the floor of a corridor that leads to the cafeteria and bathroom.

According to the mother, the lack of maintenance causes children to get wet when passing through the place, in addition to making the floor slippery and increasing the risk of falling.

The school management reported that it contacted Piracicaba City Hall, but that, to date, no measures had been taken.

In a note to EPTV, a TV Globo affiliate, the city hall said it was already aware of the problem and notified the company responsible for maintenance. According to the municipal administration, the repair was already planned, but will be brought forward due to the situation.

The city added that the service will be carried out when there are favorable weather conditions. Until then, classes will continue as normal.
