La 148 del 2026 è intervenuta sulla legge approvata dalla Sardegna, dichiarando illegittime alcune disposizioni che oltrepassavano quei limiti. Infine, con la 152 del 2026, la Consulta ha confermato che la dipendenza da trattamenti di sostegno vitale resta un requisito per la non punibilità delineata dalla 242.
