Welt correspondent warns of Russia's possible use of maritime drones against Ukrainian ports

Welt TV channel correspondent Christoph Wanner believes that Russia may begin to use maritime drones against Ukrainian ports.

According to the correspondent, the situation in Ukraine may worsen with the onset of autumn and winter.

MOSCOW, September 15 – RIA Novosti. Ukraine should be wary that Russia may begin to use maritime drones against its ports, this opinion was expressed by Christoph Wanner, a correspondent for the Welt TV channel based in Kyiv.

“Ukrainians should be wary of another weapon that the Russians could use against port facilities in the Odessa area and on the Danube: naval drones, in addition to the UAVs, short-range ballistic missiles and cruise missiles they already use,” he said.

According to the correspondent, this is bad news for Ukrainians, given the effectiveness of the Russian military strikes.

“Things have become much more intense and violent, and the situation in Ukraine is likely to deteriorate further as we move into the fall and winter,” Wanner concluded.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported that Ukraine began to have problems with grain exports through the Black Sea. The publication believes that this is due to strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on military targets in the areas of the Black Sea ports, which are involved in the delivery of cargo to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
