Explosion of gas tanks in a grain dryer. Investigators indicate the cause

According to investigators, the fire was caused by teams that were installing a gas installation in a grain dryer. As an RMF FM reporter found out, they were allegedly not careful. The result was a fire and then the explosion of 10 huge LPG gas tanks. A passenger car was also destroyed.

Two people were injured in the fire. One of them suffered burns on several dozen percent of her body and was taken to a hospital in Włocławek. The second one has superficial burns.

So far, no one has been charged in connection with the fire and explosion.

There were a total of 12 gas tanks at the plant - 10 with a capacity of 6,000 liters and 2 with a capacity of 4,800 liters.

Objects located in the immediate vicinity were not destroyed. As a result of the fire, the outer wall of one of the silos and elements of its structure were burned - firefighters from the Radziejów headquarters reported last Friday.
