Half is on Us Campaign Extended for 1 More Year

Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, shared a post on his NSosyal account regarding the extension of the Half of It is on Us Campaign, announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for another year.

Minister Kurum said, "You asked, we extended Half of It for 1 more year. The new period is December 31, 2027. We will continue to support our citizens who want to transform their homes." made the statement.

Sharing the information that 435 thousand 683 independent sections in Istanbul have been included in the scope of transformation so far within the scope of the campaign, the Authority stated that the transformation of 108 thousand 881 independent sections has been completed.

The institution noted that it is aimed to include more than 500 thousand houses within the scope of the campaign by the end of this year.

Half is on Us Campaign

Within the scope of the Half of It is on Us Campaign, which came into force with the Presidential Decree on February 22, 2024, to accelerate urban transformation in Istanbul, 1 million 875 thousand lira support is given to citizens to rebuild their houses, including 875 thousand lira grant, 875 thousand lira loan and 125 thousand lira evacuation support.

Under the same conditions, a grant of 437 thousand 500 lira, a loan of 437 thousand 500 lira and a relocation support of 125 thousand lira are provided for a shop or workplace of the beneficiary, while a loan of 875 thousand lira is offered for each other shop of the beneficiary.

In large area-based site-like transformations, TOKİ or Emlak Konut construction undertakes. In this model, 875 thousand lira grant support and 125 thousand lira relocation support are provided for each beneficiary. The grant amount is deducted from the building cost, and the remaining debt is paid in installments with suitable long-term payment terms.
