Our Ataşehir Mayor Onursal Adıgüzel and our companions were arrested 5 months ago. They have been detained for 5 months. Currently, 6 of our friends are detained. There has been no indictment written for 5 months, there has been no indictment for 5 months. Our friends are still in prison without knowing what they are accused of. There were areas in other districts where indictments were not written for 10 months, 11 months, 12 months. This cannot happen, elected mayors cannot be subjected to this cruelty. "The NEW Party was born out of necessity. Sometimes they ask us, "Wouldn't it be possible if you didn't leave?" All Ataşehir residents know this, but through you, all our citizens should also know this: We did not leave anywhere. While I was on duty, the Istanbul provincial building was entered with 5 thousand police officers. We did not leave again, we said 'we are on our duty'. Then... The headquarters of the Republican People's Party was entered with rubber bullets and gas bombs. Our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel started a big march to the Turkish Grand National Assembly with his white shirt and said 'I am on my duty'. Then we realized that while we were on duty, in the office of our provincial building, we heard a breaking news saying 'Özgür Çelik was expelled from the party'. We said again, 'We are on our duty'. Then we entered the e-Government system; Our membership record has been deleted from the Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Then our MPs were expelled from the party, our party council members were expelled from the party and the headquarters of the Republican People's Party was entered, and a political party is being tried to be designed by the judiciary. Our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel, also started a big march against these practices. The nation was with him on that walk. That's where the social state should step in. It should be able to offer an educational opportunity to the child of a low-income citizen. The state should make an effort to bring children from high-income families and low-income families together on an equal footing. We will not leave behind our presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu in Silivri, nor will we leave behind our prisoner companions, nor will we leave behind the low-income families living in this country. Housewives work and strive inside the house; They have neither social security nor income. We will ensure that housewives have access to social security and we will take steps to support housewives. We will increase the support provided to families of disabled people. We will provide disadvantaged groups with the opportunities they need to live healthy lives by implementing the social state.
-We will make a Türkiye dominant where the authorities are entrusted. Shall I tell you something? Whatever happened to this country happened because of those who did not want to leave their seats, is it true? It came because of those who did not want to leave their seats. We will implement the period rule. After a certain period of time, people will elect to transfer their duties to other people. There is no such thing as 'you lost in the congress, I will come back with a judicial decision'.
