NEW Party MPs heard about economic and livelihood problems during field work

MEHTAP GÖKDEMİR - NEW Party MPs came to the field. After the field work, the deputies will prepare a report on the provinces they are assigned to. Speaking to Milliyet, the MPs stated that they mostly received complaints about "economy and livelihood difficulties" and said, "They ask what we will do as the NEW Party, they are curious about our economic promises. They ask what you will do to the tradesmen, workers and farmers when you come? They want early elections."

'Don't look back'

Deputies stated that they received comments about 'CHP' in the field: "Don't look back, we are with you, look ahead, walk without looking back."

There are people who do not know the name

It hasn't been two months since the NEW Party was established. It turned out that the name of the party was not known in some places, but it was called "Özgür Özel's party". Deputies also conveyed this situation with the following words: "Some people in the field first look at the NEW Party. When they say 'Özgür Özel's party', they say 'Oh, okay'. It is not well established among the older citizens, but when they say 'Özgür Özel's party', they say 'Okay, it is our party. We are now members too'. They send their greetings and love to Özgür Özel. They say 'Let him continue. Don't give up'."

Some say 'slow', some say 'Special'

On the field, "Who will be the presidential candidate?" Stating that they also encountered the question, the MPs said, "Some citizens express their opinions to us. There are those who say 'Let Mansur Bey be the candidate', there are those who say 'Let Özgür Özel be the candidate himself. There are those who say 'Make Mansur Bey the candidate and pass' and 'Let Özgür Özel be the candidate, he is working so hard, he deserves it. They also ask 'When will they leave Ekrem İmamoğlu?'"

Stating that they observed that the citizens have great love and appreciation for Özel, the deputies said, "They love the Chairman very much. They say, 'He is very hardworking, brave, agile, well done.'"
