NEW Party Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz Criticized the Privatization of Bosphorus Bridges

NEW Party Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz reacted to the plan to privatize some bridges and highways and said, "Citizens who cannot make ends meet due to the economic crisis will no longer be able to make ends meet in Istanbul."

Yavuzyılmaz made a statement on his social media account regarding the privatization plan of some bridges and highways. Yavuzyılmaz used the following statements in his statement:

"This is the summary of the privatization of the Bosphorus bridges: When the 5 July Martyrs Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge are privatized, all Bosphorus crossings will be out of public hands. Citizens who cannot make ends meet due to the economic crisis will no longer be able to make ends meet in Istanbul! According to the privatization plan, there will be no bridges or tunnels operated by the public in the Anatolia-Europe, Europa-Anatolia Bosphorus crossings. AKP is blatantly turning citizens into compulsory customers of pro-government companies. "This privatization is against the Constitution!"
