It was claimed that Greece aims to purchase Lora ballistic missiles from Israel and jointly produce them

According to the news of the website "Nemesishd.gr", one of the issues in the talks on military cooperation between Israel and Greece is the Lora ballistic missile systems developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

Greece wants to produce these missile systems on its own soil together with Israel. This request is among the plans of the Greek Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.

Once the negotiations are completed, it is envisaged that the price for the Lora ballistic missile systems will be determined and Greece will begin the purchasing process.

The news pointed out that the German Navy successfully conducted the firing test of the Israeli-made Lora missile system in the North Atlantic in September and that the range of Lora, which is considered in the short-range ballistic missile class, is over 500 kilometers.

An agreement was signed between Israel and Greece in Tel Aviv in August to purchase the "Achilles Shield" weapon system worth approximately 3 billion euros.
