Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, pointed out on the 19th that the Democratic Progressive Party authorities continue to use measures to facilitate personnel exchanges to coerce other countries, openly challenging the one-China principle, and ultimately harming the vital interests of Taiwan compatriots.

She said that the DPP authorities' "fascination with Japan and colonialism" has once again made the world see clearly its ugly face of betraying history and the nation.

As for how she views the Democratic Progressive Party's long-term emphasis on deepening Taiwan-US security cooperation, Zhu Fenglian responded that the United States will always pursue "America First" and only care about "American interests." In the eyes of Americans, Taiwan's real value is "fat meat" and "cash machine", a pawn to contain the mainland and a tool to serve the United States.

She pointed out that for the sake of political self-interest, the Lai Ching-te administration has kowtowed to and curry favor with external forces. It has no principles to flatter and kneel to the United States, and it has no bottom line to betray Taiwan and harm it. This has been opposed by more and more Taiwanese people.
