At the meeting, Wang Jianhua, spokesman and deputy minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, said that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will continue to consolidate the foundation of protection, enhance inheritance capabilities, stimulate creative vitality, and promote intangible cultural heritage to better integrate into modern life and serve a better life. It mainly includes the following three aspects.

On the one hand, it is to consolidate the foundation for the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. Our country has very rich intangible cultural heritage resources, and now there are more than 100,000 representative intangible cultural heritage projects at all levels. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the second national intangible cultural heritage census will be carried out to find out the family's financial situation and establish a general catalog of intangible cultural heritage resources. It is necessary to continue to implement the intangible cultural heritage recording project and preserve the precious skills of the inheritors. Implement the expansion and upgrading project of cultural and ecological protected areas to cultivate a good ecology that is conducive to the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage. Combining the regular characteristics and survival status of different categories of intangible cultural heritage, promote classified protection.
