Mirziyoyev called on Central Asian countries and South Korea to fight cyber threats

TASHKENT, September 16 – RIA Novosti. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev called on the countries of Central Asia and South Korea to join efforts to early identify and prevent cyber threats.

According to the press service of the Uzbek leader, on Wednesday Mirziyoyev took part in the first Central Asia – Republic of Korea summit in Seoul.

“Our common focus is also on ensuring the security of the digital future. We consider it critically important to join forces in creating mechanisms for the early detection and prevention of cyber threats,” follows from the text of Mirziyoyev’s speech at the summit, posted on the head of state’s website.

The President of Uzbekistan noted that thanks to such interaction, cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and South Korea will be built on the basis of a common strategic approach and priorities of tomorrow.
