Fraudsters are sending phishing links to relatives of SVO participants on behalf of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation

MOSCOW, September 25 - RIA Novosti. Fraudsters are sending phishing links to relatives of SVO participants via messenger on behalf of the Defenders of the Fatherland state fund with an offer to relax in sanatoriums, reported the department for organizing the fight against illegal use of information and communication technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“Fraudsters send phishing links in the messenger on behalf of the Defenders of the Fatherland state fund. In the message, the criminals offer relatives of SVO participants to receive additional benefits,” the department’s official channel on the Max platform says.

As follows from the photo published in the management channel, scammers can offer relatives of SVO participants holidays in sanatoriums throughout Russia, including in the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody, and offer to choose the most suitable one. In order to view available “support programs,” attackers ask you to click on a link that is actually a phishing link.
