At the same time, the Police Department reminded that the National Day fireworks will be set off on October 10 at the estuary of Beinan Creek in Taitung County, in the Pipa Lake area of Taitung Forest Park (east of the China Bridge to the coast, north of the Green Water Bridge to the Living Water Lake); the control time will be from 0:00 to 10:00 on October 9 Traffic control will be implemented and entry will be prohibited in the Taitung Living Water Lake area (including flood control roads; control time: from 0:00 on September 29 to 0:00 on October 12), and entry is prohibited. People can make more use of the shuttle buses planned by the Taitung County Government.

According to road traffic accident data from the Ministry of Transport, a total of 196 people died in traffic accidents involving large vehicles (including buses, trucks, coupled vehicles, etc.) within 30 days from January to July this year, 10 fewer people (a decrease of 4.85%) than the same period last year. Analyzing the causes of traffic accidents, the main factors include failure to maintain a safe driving distance (interval) and distracted driving.
