Taipei Mayoral Poll conducted by the Trustees Association: Shen Boyang is only 1.2 percentage points behind Chiang Wanan

The People's Association recently released the latest Taipei mayoral election poll. DPP candidate Shen Boyang is only 1.2 percentage points behind the current mayor Chiang Wanan, showing a back-and-forth. Facing the election situation in Beishi City, Social Democratic Party member Miao Boya commented that in the three months since he was nominated, Shen Boyang has worked hard at the grassroots to increase his visibility and has not launched an offensive against Jiang Wanan, but his favorability and support have gradually increased. However, Jiang Wanan faced public complaints with an arrogant attitude, which only increased dissatisfaction.

The Taipei Cross-Strait Research Association and polling expert Dai Li'an released a Taipei mayoral election poll on the 22nd. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan received 41.7% support, Shen Boyang 40.5%, and Shen Boyang was only 1.2 percentage points behind Chiang Wanan. In an interview today (26th), Shen Boyang said that Jiang Wanan's election situation is very stable. As a challenger, he needs to convince the public more, while Jiang Wanan said, "I am trembling and walking on thin ice."

Miao Boya analyzed that in the three months since he was nominated, Shen Boyang has worked diligently at the grassroots level to increase his visibility. Although he did not launch an offensive against Jiang Wanan, his favorability and support gradually increased. But Jiang Wanan was trapped by his own incompetence, including child abuse, rat infestation, sky-high price of parasols, second-hand smoke fence potted plants, 10-year-old girl resettlement case, nutritious lunch mass poisoning case, public-funded exchange of melon fields and plums, disputes over privileges, etc.

Miao Boya bluntly said that Jiang Wanan faced public complaints with an arrogant attitude, and the Wolf Warriors team continued to self-destruct, which in turn broke the character they had built for many years, and Jiang Wanan's dissatisfaction increased.
