A travel agent promised a Russian woman a Serbian passport and deceived her for 1.5 million rubles; he also refused to return 110 thousand rubles to his colleague for an unfulfilled service. The Telegram channel “Caution, Petersburg” writes about this.

Ksenia (name changed) from St. Petersburg said that before moving to Serbia, she turned to travel agent Andrei Murashov from the Globus company for a passport from the Balkan country. For “expedited” registration, the man demanded 1.5 million rubles. After concluding the contract and paying, he began to “feed breakfast,” Ksenia recalls. “Demands to return the funds are refused,” she added. She is currently planning to file a police report through a lawyer in Russia.

Another victim was Ilya Sarrke, who is a colleague of the fraudster. Sarrke recalls that he brought two clients to Murashov. He took money from him - 110 thousand rubles - for two Schengen visas and was unable to issue them. According to Sarrke, at first the false travel agent assured that he had important connections among consuls and lawyers and guaranteed that the Russians would be approved for multiple visas. “The consul even called the client and said that this was a guaranteed refusal. To which Murashov said that I should buy the reservations. I turned on the reverse and refused all the words,” says Ilya.

According to Sarrke, after demanding the return of funds, Murashov began to threaten him and assure him that he had a “good roof.” His colleague saved all the voice messages and contacted the police and the Investigative Committee with them, but law enforcement officers refused to initiate a case and did not even call the man for questioning. Currently, Ilya is waiting for a response from the Moscow District Court.

He also said that after the publication of the story in the media, at least five more victims of Murashov’s actions contacted him. They all filed statements with the police.
