Kuomintang Hsinchu County Mayor candidate Xu Xinying promotes the "Hsinchu Pregnancy 100,000 gift package" policy

Kuomintang candidate for Hsinchu County Mayor Xu Xinying today launched the second wave of the 2030 Hsinchu Women's Power Political Opinion, launching the country's first "100,000 gift package for fertility and good pregnancy", which covers everything from women's pregnancy, childbirth, confinement, to the health and parenting needs of the baby in the first year after birth. We will pick up all female friends along the way; we will increase the pre-pregnancy health check-up subsidy to NT$3,000, expand the number of places and check-up content, and provide free psychological consultation for newborn parents to create a complete maternity care system and make Hsinchu County the most female-friendly city in Taiwan.

Xu Xinying emphasized that having children is not something a family should bear alone, but a city's joint investment in the next generation. After the central government gives her the first support, if she is elected as county magistrate, the Hsinchu County Government will accompany her for a while longer, so that "want to have children, dare to have children, and raise with peace of mind" is no longer just a slogan.

She said that she would promote the "Hsinchu Good Pregnancy Pre-Pregnancy Health Plan", increase the pre-pregnancy health check-up subsidy for women to 3,000 yuan, expand the number of places and check-up content, and include anemia, thyroid, immunity and reproductive health risk assessment; whenever abnormalities are found, they will be referred for follow-up, instead of waiting for remediation after pregnancy, but identifying the risks in advance, so that every family who wants to welcome a child will have more peace of mind.

In addition, it is not easy to consider taking care of a new life. Whether it is the mother's psychological changes or the father's role adaptation, do not force yourself when you need help. Therefore, she will provide 6 "free psychological consultations for new parents" per child, providing the strongest psychological support to new parents whether they are facing postpartum depression, parenting anxiety, or the pressure of adjusting their roles as a couple.
