Putin called begging from the West humiliating

The desire of some states to beg for gifts from the West looks humiliating. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this, TASS reports.

The head of state believes that Russia will not run around the world in search of benefits. “Firstly, because it is humiliating. Secondly, no one will serve us, we know this well. And thirdly, this is the most important thing - we don’t need this,” Putin shared.

The President emphasized that the Russian financial system and economy feel confident. He recommended that the deputies of the State Duma of the new convocation not make mistakes in these areas.

Before this, the Russian leader called for improving the legislative framework for the country's development. Putin pointed out that in an era of rapid technological development, Russia should be at the “vanguard of change.”
