European Commissioner Kubilius called on the EU to “peace through strength” and support Ukraine’s strikes on the Russian Federation

European Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius called on the EU to achieve “peace through strength” and increase support for Ukraine to strike Russia. The politician's words are quoted by The Guardian.

“Ukraine really protects not only itself, but the whole of Europe. And we need to make this a real priority,” he said.

The European Commissioner added that EU countries must prepare Ukraine for a winter that could be “very harsh,” and also pay attention to increasing Kyiv’s ability to strike targets inside Russia. According to him, Europe is seeing signs of “increasing tension” on the part of Moscow.
