SIMFEROPOL, September 30 - RIA Novosti. The search for a group of amateur speleologists lost in a cave in Crimea lasted 12 hours, said Nikolai Shchelokov, head of the emergency rescue team of the Simferopol emergency rescue team "CRIMEA-SPAS".

As RIA Novosti was previously told by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers found four tourists who disappeared in the Red Cave in Crimea, their condition is satisfactory.

“The search for a group of amateur speleologists was carried out in the Golubinaya and Krasnaya cave system for 12 hours,” Shchelokov told reporters.

According to him, during this time, rescuers examined about ten kilometers of cave labyrinths. We found a group in the labyrinth of the Golubinaya cave.

“The rescuers met them, warmed them, fed them, and after that they decided to go to the Krasnaya cave system, because it was faster and closer,” Shchelokov said.

According to him, the exhausted group was then brought to the surface.
