MOSCOW, September 22 - RIA Novosti. The Russian Export Center summed up the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian award "Exporter of the Year. Made in Russia" for the North Caucasus Federal District: 14 companies from five regions of the North Caucasus Federal District became winners and runners-up, according to the REC press release.

The Stavropol Territory took first place in the number of awards. Enterprises in the region received six prizes, including three first. Dagestan took second place with four awards and two first places. Kabardino-Balkaria closed the top three with three prizes, one of which was first.
"The economy of Stavropol region has great potential. Competencies, ideas, production solutions and technologies help not only to develop import substitution, but also to develop new markets. Since 2022, the number of exporting companies in the region has tripled - today there are more than 600 enterprises. Our work with investors, science, and the use of measures to support the real sector is the basis for new results in the development of production and exports. We will continue to multiply them every year, fulfilling the tasks set President of Russia,” said Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov.
In the nomination "Exporter of the Year. Industry" among large businesses, the Arnest company from the Stavropol Territory won, and Salavatsteklo Caspiy from Dagestan took second place. In the category of small and medium-sized businesses, the manufacturer "Dagestan Glass Container" was recognized as the best, followed by "Profitex" from the Stavropol Territory and "Sadkomplekt" from Kabardino-Balkaria.
In the “Food Products” category among large businesses, the first place was taken by the Stavropol Aqua Holding, the second place was taken by Salyut Alko from North Ossetia-Alania. Among SMEs in this category, the winner was Aqua-Crystal from Kabardino-Balkaria, the winners were 1st Water Company and Askania from the Stavropol Territory.
DNA Corporation (Kabardino-Balkaria) won in the “High IT Technologies” category, “Aqua Holding” (Stavropol Region) won in the “New Geography” category, and “Arnest” (Stavropol Region) won in the “Marketing Breakthrough” category. The best agro-industrial exporter in the SME category was the Dagestan manufacturer Armada+.
The awards to the best exporters of the district were presented by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Maxim Borovoy, Vice-President of the REC Alexander Molodtsov, Director of the Department of Development and Regulation of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development Dmitry Nekrasov, Deputy Chairman and Head of the Executive Committee of the All-Russian Public Organization "Business Russia" Nonna Kagramanyan, General Director of the charitable foundation "Children's Assistance Fund named after E.M. Primakov." and Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Development of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Iskhakova, as well as the head of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" of the ANO "National Priorities" Irina Toporkova.
The award ceremony for the winners of the regional stage in the North Caucasus Federal District took place on September 22 in Moscow in the Space Pavilion at VDNKh. The organizer of the award is REC. The partners of the event were the Moscow Export Center (MEC), Geoscan Group and VEDA. The decision to award prizes was made by the Unified District Competition Commission, which included representatives of the relevant federal ministries, REC, VEB.RF, ANO "National Priorities" and business associations.
The All-Russian award "Exporter of the Year. Made in Russia", established by the government of the Russian Federation, is a sign of state recognition of the merits of exporters in strengthening the national economy and promoting competitive Russian products to foreign markets.
