올해 10주년을 맞은 전주세계문화주간은 세계 문화를 일상에서 접하도록 마련한 전주시의 대표 국제교류 프로그램이다.

축제의 포문은 프랑스 정통 클래식 공연이 연다.

10월 1일 오후 7시 30분 전북대 삼성문화회관에서 프랑스 지휘자 아드리앙 페뤼숑과 전주시립교향악단이 협연한다.

이들은 대규모 오케스트라 편성과 특수 악기가 필요한 베를리오즈와 생상스 등의 명곡을 선보인다.

관람료는 R석 1만원, S석 7천원, A석 5천원이다.

청소년과 대학생, 다자녀 가정 등은 30% 감면된다. 입장권은 나루컬처(www.naruculture.com)에서 예매할 수 있다.

이어 10월 2∼10일 아중호수도서관에서는 프랑스 문학과 LP 특별 전시가 이어진다.
