Among the exhibits are photographs, documents, personal belongings, medical instruments, printed publications, awards, and paintings. The exhibition also included rare items - the overcoat, cap and dress uniform of Colonel General of the Medical Service Burdenko, the robe of a member of the Royal Society of Medicine of England.

During the Great Patriotic War, he personally performed thousands of complex operations, organized work to promptly collect materials on injuries and introduce the latest treatment methods into practice. He also tested new drugs in front-line hospitals, which, at his insistence, began to be used in military hospitals.
